Christopher Hoffman is a Mechanical Engineer, Software Developer, Youtuber, and 3D Printing enthusiast located in Gainesville, Florida. After graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida in 2014, he has dedicated himself to the fields of 3D printing, 3D scanning, and Computer Aided Design. Chris enjoys sharing his passion for Making with the Youtube community, running a Youtube channel called Hoffman Engineering. There he showcases his own projects ranging from 3D printed, animatronic Pokemon to the latest in open-source CAD software.

While waiting on his 3D prints to finish or his videos to render, Chris can be found at the Gainesville Hackerspace, where he regularly gives demos of the successes and failures of his personal projects. He enjoys teaching classes on 3D modeling at the Hackerspace, inviting the Gainesville community to learn from his mistakes.
